First Wonder is an upcoming spiritual successor to MDK and Giants: Citizen Kabuto
MDK and Giants: Citizen Kabuto creators are working on First Wonder – a third person action-adventure game. If the title is successfully funded on Kickstarted it should come out to PC in 2016.
A spiritual successor to MDK and Giants: Citizen Kabuto is in works by indie dev Rogue Rocket Games. First Wonder is a third-person action-adventure game, in which a team of so-called Cargonauts fight against giant Monstro. The game is going to feature both humor-filled singleplayer campaign (depending on the chapter, you play either as one of The Cargonauts or Monstro) as well as online asymmetric multiplayer (many vs. one).
Right now the developers are collecting funds via Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. The studio needs $500,000 to complete a PC version of the game in late 2016. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are included as stretch goals. Below there is a gameplay video from First Wonder.
