Fix missing audio in Kingdom Come 2 (KC2). Change dialog language easily

Kingdome Come Deliverance 2 is finally here. Once again, we have a chance to go on adventure with Henry. While the game is in good technical shape, there is always something to make better. In this case one of the issues is with audio. Players have problems with changing the dialog language and to be fair it can be quite unintuitive. So, if you want learn how to do that, you are in a good place.

How to change language in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

While the game supports full audio of 6 languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Czech and Japanese), not all these audios are available from the beginning. You have to download them separately. It is not often that players are forced to do such things, so no wonder that many are lost.

How to change language on Steam

1. Go to your library and find Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
2. Right click the game and pick Properties.
3. Change language.

How to change language on Xbox, PS5, Epic and GoG

There is a chance that you are here and you own a game on a different platform than Steam. So, let’s look at other options.

1. In the case of PlayStation 5, you can check if the game has any language packages to download in the “Manage game content menu”.
2. If you own Epic or Xbox Series X/S copy of the KC:D2, changing the language of the app/console in general settings might help (sadly, at this point we are not certain how it was resolved in the case of KC:D2 on these platforms).
3. On GoG, select the option Manage, next to the Play button. Later pick Manage and change your language.
