Flying Wild Hog Holds on to TPP; First Info on New Game

Despite the fact that Evil West from Flying Wild Hog appeared on the market quite recently, the developers are already working on their next project. The team is looking for volunteers to create a TPP action game on Unreal Engine 5.

Last November saw the premiere of Evil West - an action game set in an alternate version of the Wild West, in which the world was overrun by vampires. Admittedly, the game by Flying Wild Hog did not conquer the sales charts, but it received quite a warm reception from the gaming community. However, the overall success of the title does not mean that the developers intend to rest on their laurels; quite the opposite.

Indeed, the studio's website published an announcement, in which the company informs of recruitment of employees (including for the position of VFX specialist) for a new, "ambitious" project (via tech4gamers). From the information contained there, we learn that the yet unannounced game is to be another TPP action game, but this time powered by Unreal Engine 5.

"Our team is currently working on a brand new and ambitious project for next-gen consoles and PC, powered by Unreal Engine 5.

We are looking for a full-time VFX specialist who will be responsible for creating and integrating the highest quality real-time visual effects into our dynamic TPP action game," the ad reads.

It is worth noting that the mysterious game will be the first project in Flying Wild Hog's portfolio developed on the UE5 engine. Thus, the developers have quite a challenge ahead of them. In turn, they decided to continue their adventure with TPP games initiated with the aforementioned Evil West. So is the studio working on the second part of the game? We will probably learn the answer to this question in some time.
