Fortnite Will Get Ray tracing and DLSS Support

Nvidia and Epic Games have announced that the PC version of Fortnite will soon receive ray tracing and DLSS support.

Yesterday, Nvidia announced new GPUs. The hardware presentation was accompanied by information related to games. One of the most interesting news was the announcement of adding ray tracing support to Fortnite.

The technology will enrich reflections, shadows, global illumination and ambient occlusion effects. For the time being, all these bells and whistles will only be available on PC equipped with Nvidia cards. However, it's worth remembering that Fortnite will be released on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, both of which support ray tracing, so it's possible that Epic Games will also implement these improvements in next-generation console releases.

Fortnite is also to receive support for DLSS technology. It will also be one of the first games to support Nvidia Reflex, a system that aims to reduce control input lag.

All these wonders are expected to go to Fortnite PC this month.
