Free Team Fortress 2 Classic Mod Available for Download
The long-awaited Team Fortress 2 Classic mod has went live. It restores the popular title to the state back from 2008-2009, so we can see again many elements that have been changed or removed from the game since then. The mod is available for download for free on the developers' website.

The long-awaited and very ambitious Team Fortress 2 Classic mod has been released. It seems that we are dealing with a tasty morsel for long-standing TF2, as well as for those who could not face the title right after its release.
According to the devs, TF2 Classic is supposed to recreate the original game from 2008-2009, the period they call "the classic era". In addition to restoring elements that have been removed or changed over time, the modification also introduces several new features, such as additional weapons and game modes.
Old man on steroids
The mod looks really promising and covers many areas. However, it focuses primarily on the original game modes - Capture the Flag and Special Delivery. Apart from them there will also be two other game variants - VIP (for fans of classic escort) and Domination (in the King of the Hill variant). Due to the great complexity and a large amount of required work, TF2 Classic will not feature the Deathmatch mode. The work on it is done by another team and it will be released as a separate mod - Team Deathmatch Classic.
Many people were also waiting for the two new maps developed for 4 teams. They are available in Domination mode and make the battles reach incredible pace. It's not a kind of fun to be taken seriously, but it's very enjoyable. Team Fortress 2 Classic can be downloaded from the official website and is available for free.
