NetEase Games Will Port Frostpunk to iOS and Android Devices

Frostpunk is coming to mobile devices. 11 bit studios has announced that the mobile version of their strategy game will be released later this year, and the game is to be enriched with new features.

The critically acclaimed game about building a society after the climatic apocalypse will get a mobile version. Frostpunk, as that's the game in question, is to be released on iOS and Android devices later this year.

The creation of a mobile version of the game is not new information, we wrote about it over a year ago, but 11 bit studios recently released some details about the project on its website. The studio began a cooperation with the Chinese company NetEase Games, a veteran on the mobile games market. They are the creators of such productions as Marvel Super War or Identity V, and at the moment they are also working on Diablo Immortal and Total War Battles: Warhammer.

In addition, the game will include some elements not featured in versions for other platforms. The developers have announced, among others, Roguelike Adventure, Character Development or Rare Animal Rescue Station. Unfortunately, we don't know yet what exactly these new features are supposed to be.

We probably will not have to wait long for the details, because already on May 20, 2021, during the annual Product Launch event, NetEase Games is to provide more information about the project. Fans of the series, who like to have their games always at hand, must arm themselves with a little patience.
