Games With Gold for August 2021 (Darksiders 3, Yooka-Laylee and More)

We've learned the titles of games that will hit the Games with Gold service in August. Next month, subscribers will be able to pick up Darksiders 3 and Yooka-Laylee, among others.

Microsoft announced the titles we'll be able to pick up in August as part of its Games with Gold service. Subscribers of Xbox Live Gold - and therefore Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - will receive quite several productions this time. From August 1 Darksiders III will be available, which is an experimental soulslike installment of the action game series about the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, as well as Lost Planet 3, a pretty good sci-fi TPP shooter. In the second part of the month, a bit more niche titles will be available: the 3D platformer Yooka-Laylee and 2D foghting game Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

As a reminder, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can also still pick up Planet Alpha, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break, and Midway Arcade Origins - the first two until July 31, and the last one until August 15.

Games with Gold for August:

  • Lost Planet 3 - August 1 to 15 (Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S)
  • Darksiders III - August 1 to 31 (Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S)
  • Garou: Mark of the Wolves - August 16 to 31 (Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S)
  • Yooka-Laylee - August 16 to September 15 (Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S)
