The day has come for the release of the PC version of God of War, one of the biggest hits of PlayStation 4. The game will be unlocked on Steam at 8 am PT, and the preloads started the day before yesterday. The game will also be available for purchase on Epic Games Store.

The port collects excellent reviews. One of the most praised elements is full support for ultrawide monitors. The PC edition of God of War not only allows for gameplay in ultrawide resolutions, but the developers have also adjusted the cutscenes to match that capability. Especially this second move is not typical. In the case of the port of Horizon: Zero Dawn - Complete Edition, another hit from the PS4, obtaining such an effect involves the use of mods.

How the said full support for ultrawide screens looks in action, is shown on the new trailer. Owners of such monitors can prepare for a spectacular experience.

The advantages of the PC release are not limited to support for ultr-wide screens. Reviewers praise the game's optimization, controls that have been well adapted for mouse and keyboard, and the implementation of graphics features such as Nvidia DLSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution.

Currently, the average rating of the PC release on Metacritic is 93%.
