Godus’ dev team rumored to have lost its lead designer

Godus’ development team at 22Cans is rumored to have lost its lead designer, Konrad “FuriousMoo” Naszynski, and a large part of what remains of the team was transferred to work on The Trail.

The development team of Godus—a real-time strategy game by 22Cans and its head, the industry veteran Peter Molyneux, still in development since 2013— is rumored to have lost its lead designer, Konrad “FuriousMoo” Naszynski. If you haven’t been following news regarding Godus, Naszynski was the person to say some quite controversial words about the game he used to work on, namely that in his opinion it was impossible to keep the promises made on Kickstarter back in the day. As said before, Naszynski is rumored to have been laid off, and the large part (if not majority) of the development team has been transferred to work on The Trail, 22Cans’ new mobile project. It’s difficult not to think that Godus’ future doesn’t look bright. Will its development ever come to an end due to this loss, or will it forever remain in Steam Early Access? It remains to be seen.
