Google Gives Up on Another Service

Google Play Music will close soon. The service will be phased out gradually and will end between October and the end of the year. At the same time, Google encourages subscribers to move their collections to YouTube Music.

The life of Google Play Music is slowly coming to an end.

The giant from Mountain View decided to close down Google Play Music. In the email sent to subscribers, the details and specific stages of the phasing out process were given. In the next 30 days the possibility of buying and pre-ordering songs will be blocked. Then the phasing out of subsequent functions and deletion of user data will start. The whole process is to be completed between October and the end of the year.

At the same time, Google encourages further use of its services. Anyone interested can easily move their collection of songs from Google Play Music to YouTube Music. The whole process runs automatically, just one click on the link in the email is enough.
