Gran Turismo 7 Will Offer 90 Tracks and Over 420 Cars

One of the things we learned from a Japanese booklet is how many tracks and cars Gran Turismo 7 will offer.

GT7 WILL OFFER:
  1. At least 420 car models;
  2. More than 90 tracks;
  3. More than 2,500 photo mode locations;
  4. Over 600 aerodynamic parts.

We are slowly approaching the release of Gran Turismo 7, the next installment of one of the most popular racing game series. As a result, we're finally getting more details about what we'll find in this game. Now we've learned that GT7 will offer over 90 tracks with a realistic weather system and more than 420 cars. Of the latter, at least 300 will be the latest models, manufactured after 2011. Added to this will be historic cars, including Japanese classics from the 1980s and 1990s. This information comes from an official booklet made available on the Japanese market. It also confirms that there will be two Ferrari cars available - the F8 Tributo and the F12 Berlinetta.

It is worth mentioning that the recently released video suggests that the total number of cars will be 428 models. Fans of the series are expecting to see 338 cars from GT Sport. Others will include the 1929 Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer.

Thanks to the aforementioned booklet, we also know that in total the game will feature cars from over 60 manufacturers. GT7 will also feature an extensive tuning system with over 600 aerodynamic parts available. Players will also be able to replace engine, brake and suspension components, as well as reduce the weight of their car and increase its structural rigidity.

Players will have a virtual garage at their disposal, which will house over a thousand cars. There will also be an option to buy used vehicles. The game will offer extensive training plans that range from learning basic manoeuvres, to extensive courses that expand on the ideas from Gran Turismo Sport's Circuit Experience module.

Gran Turismo 7 will also offer a variety of challenges and tasks. Drag racing, drifting, and even driving to the rhythm of music are all mentioned in the booklet. Fans of the photo mode will also be able to take part in photo shoots at 2500 locations in over 40 countries. This is more than double the amount of content available in GT Sport and as the game develops, this aspect of GT7 will likely be further expanded.

Gran Turismo 7 is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game's release is scheduled for March 4, 2022.
