First tangible reports about the upcoming movie adaptation of the hit Sony game series Horizon have appeared on the web. Thanks to Jeff Grubb's reports we got to know the list of creators and the official title of the production.

Some time ago we reported that Sony was following up the success of the Uncharted movie and does not intend to slow down and is in the process of developing other adaptations of games known from PlayStation consoles. We did not have to wait long, because new information about one of the projects spread like wildfire.

With the creator of The Boys at the helm

Namely, it is about Horizon 2074, because this is the name of the series based on the game series about the adventures of Aloy. Popular industry journalist Jeff Grubb shared information from the Canadian Directors Guild where a list of people associated with the upcoming title was posted.

The list includes, among others first assistant director Jack Boem known from the extremely popular series The Boys and art director Michele Brady (The Expanse, Saw 2). The filmmakers responsible for the production are those who previously worked on Suicide Squad, What We Do in the Shadows or See.

Storyline

At this point, it is also worth recalling Grubb's recent statement for Giant Bomb, in which the journalist announced that the plot of Horizon 2074 will be divided into two time lines. The first will take place during the period of the golden age of human civilization, while the second shortly after its collapse.

It should also be noted that the series based on Aloy's story will be handled by Netflix (via. Comicbook).

We can only wait for more information about this interesting production.
