How Long Final Fantasy 16 (FF16) Demo Is and What It Features

In this article you will learn you how long FF16 Demo is. We will also tell you what you should expect from the trial version.

Final Fantasy XVI will be released in 10 days on PS5. Nevertheless, you can test the game today, as its demo will be available (to be precise – 2 demos) today. You may wonder how long it will take to finish it. In this guide we will tell you that and what you should expect from Final Fantasy 16 trial version.

What to expect from FF16 Demo

You should expect not one, but two demos. The first one features the Prologue of Final Fantasy 16, and you should finish it in around 2 hours. Thanks to it you will be able to learn about main protagonist’s backstory. Good news is that the progress will carry over to the full game. So, if you don’t want to, you will not need to go through this segment again on release.

The second demo is concentrated on the combat system. It will unlock after completing the first trial version, and it also takes around 2-2,5 hours. Sadly, the progress will not carry over. Nevertheless, it is a good opportunity to check if the fights are your cup of tea.

How long is FF16 Demo

Each demo of Final Fantasy 16 takes around 2 hours. So, in total, you should have close to 4-5 hours of gameplay. Of course, it depends on your playstyle and how closely you will look at the world. It may take you longer or shorter than that.
