Now, the map is completely different and the house lost its creepy charm, it now looks more like an ordinary building. In addition, the series of new weekly challenges has begun. The first of them is Speedrun.
How to beat Speedrun Challenge in Phasmophobia
Speedrun! is the first weekly challenge that you can complete in Phasmophobia. It’s not too complicated – you only have to find ghost type on 6 Tanglewood Drive correctly thrice.
To compete this challenge, you should take items that allow you to check all types of evidences. So, you will need the following things:
- D.O.T.S. Projector
- EMF Reader
- Ghost Writing Book
- Spirit Box
- Thermometer
- UV Light
- Video Camera
When you start the run at 6 Tanglewood Drive, you should use Haunted Mirror first. This will allow you to locate the ghost room very quickly. This item is on the wall near the master bedroom.
Now, you can begin an investigation. Gather all items in the room pointed by the mirror and follow the steps outlined below.
- Firstly, put D.O.T.S. Projectors on the walls to notice the ghost's movement.
- Place Ghost Writing Book on the floor to allow the spirit to leave a message.
- Turn on the Spirit Box and EMF Reader, then place them on the floor. Additionally, regularly talk to the ghost and listen for responses.
- From time to time, check the thermometer.
- You should also look through the camera to identify whether orbs are appearing.
- When the ghost interacts with an object, use UV Light to search for fingerprints.
You should also remember that ghosts have some unique behaviors. For example, Wraith won’t leave footprints on salt and Twins can interact with two objects at the same time. Paying attention to such details will allow you to determine the type of phantom without collecting all the evidence.
