Hammerwatch 2 is a well received hack and slash. Thousands of people decided to check out this action RPG and visit the Kingdom of Herian, magical world inspired by Medieval period. Many dangerous beasts await travelers. You must be also prepared to discover secrets. To find some of them you will have to use tools. One of them is a Rope. In this guide we will tell you how to get and use this item.

How to get a Rope in Hammerwatch 2

The easiest way to get a rope is to buy it. Various shopkeepers have them. For example, on the starting island you can purchase them in the tavern (after you deal with bugs). They cost 110 coins/item.

Of course, you may also craft this tool yourself. You have to find a proper crafting table (like the one presented below). Creating a rope costs 10 Ripped Fabric.

How to use a Rope in Hammerwatch 2

A Rope can be used only in some special places – holes. If you can see a gap in the ground (like the one presented below), you may use a rope to get an access to the new location. You can find such places for example after you chop down dead trees (you will need an axe to do it). Sadly, this item is one-time only. So, you will have to have at least one in your equipment.

If you have a rope in your bag, go near the hole and press F. The item will be used. Now you can use it to travel to the cave.
