Above Snakes was released today. The game was warmly welcomed by survival fans. The title introduces a fresh mechanic in the genre that allows you to build your own map out of smaller fragments. It makes a game unique, as creating a map is a little puzzle itself – you must connect proper elements with each other. Of course, the game has still some basic survival elements, such as creating new tools and gathering resources. At one point it is necessary to find a bow string to make a bow. In this guide we will tell you how to do it.

Bow String in Above Snakes

To find the first bow string you need to progress the story.

  1. To progress the story, you have to build unique tiles on Cartography Table.
  2. The next step is to help people who stay there.
  3. You will be able to create Survivor’s Camp first. People there will ask you to bring them some supplies from another unique tile.
  4. When you complete their request, you will unlock special map piece Lumberjack Cabin. Create it.
  5. You can find there a cabin. Enter it and talk to Stark. He will give you a quest A very special favor.
  6. You have to take a skull from another unique tile – Glade. Watch out, snakes will appear when you do it.
  7. Go back to Stark and talk with him. Now, take a bow string from the porch.
