The release of Aliens: Dark Descent is less than a month away (it will be released on June 20). To drum up some hype around this tactical action game set in the popular universe, publisher has just presented a new gameplay video.
Darkness of the Lethe Moon
The plot of Tindalos Interactive's game takes place on the surface of the swampy moon Lethe, shrouded in darkness and full of xenomorphs. In these hostile circumstances the player will take command of a squad of five marines. As part of the gameplay observed from isometric perspective, the brave soldiers will venture further and further into the nooks and crannies of the dark world.
The latest gameplay explains the most important elements of fun in Aliens: Dark Descent. Among the mechanics of the upcoming title, the narrator pays special attention to:
- the ability to slow down time at any time;
- advanced AI system of team members;
- tactical use of tools such as flamethrowers and automatic turrets;
- management of resources and human personnel;
- five diverse character classes.
The video also emphasizes decision-making and the impact of the player's actions on subsequent gameplay..
