Everything shows that survival games are here to stay. A huge portion of them are just asset flip games put quickly together with nothing particularly original about them. In this attack of clones, there is a game that stands out among others with its unique, pleasant graphics style. I Am Future puts a player in a futuristic, overgrown city where no living soul can be found. As always, in order to survive, we will have to gather, construct, and explore. If you are looking for a Metal Frame in the game and can’t get it, you’re in the right place.

How to get Metal Frame in I Am Future?

The first thing that is essential to get a Metal Frame in I am Future is to acquire a Resource Printer. The next step is to get a recipe. The way to obtain it is to explore blocked parts of the roof. The path there is not easy, and it requires some preparation.

To get to the recipe, buy a drill from Stan the trader on the expedition map. With the drill acquired, you are now ready to approach the cryo capsule that is blocking a path to the further part of the roof. The tool will make short work of it and allow you to access the location where the Metal Frame recipe is.

After all the preparation is done, you are now ready to craft the Metal Frame. Load the Resource Printer with Pipes and choose “Create”. There will be a timer that will count down and once it reaches zero your item will be crafted. Be wary though, as it will not magically appear in your inventory or in the building menu. The Resource Printer has a shelf where the created objects are dispensed. Get there and pick up your Metal Frame.

Good luck surviving in the overgrown city of the future!
