Bellwright is a new survival game, where you have to look for resources needed to create your own settlement and even army. Of course it is not a strategy game like Manor Lords, which will be released tomorrow (check out our guide), but it still requires a lot of materials and planning. One of the basic resources in the game are river reeds. They can be quite difficult to find.

It may be a surprise, but the biggest supply of reeds we have been able to find was not near the river. While if you go southwest from the starting point (to the river), you will be able to find some sources of this plant, they are far and between. Moreover, the area is full of bandits. It is worth to go there though, as it is the place to find Tin. So, you can farm both resources at the same time.

However, if you want to concentrate on Reeds only, we recommend a lake southeast from the starting location. There are many plants around the water basin at this location. What is more, the area is also good for mining Copper. Sadly, it is not fully safe. While there are no bandits nearby, you will be able to meet many wolves. They are fast and can chase you for a long time. So, watch out, and prepare at least a basic weapon.

Additionally, we may add that it is a good place to build a base, if you like nice views. Definitely worth considering.
