id Software Works on VR Game; Doom Eternal VFR Possible?

id Software is working on a new VR game. It's possible that it's about VR edition of Doom Eternal.

Age rating agency databases are often a delicious source of information about unannounced projects. The latest example of this is the website of the Australian Classification group, which mentions a VR game develop by id Software, the long-time developers of the Doom series.

Unfortunately, the game was submitted to classification under a temporary title, Project 2021A, so we do not know whether it will be a new IP or not. The only thing we do know is that it's going to be a brutal title that will offer some form of online interaction.

After the modest information from the Australian Classification website, it is difficult to judge whether we are dealing with a title developed exclusively for VR or an adaptation of an older title for this technology. Doom from 2016 lived to see such a redesign in the form of Doom VFR, while last year's Doom Eternal has yet to see one, so perhaps this is a VR version of the latest installment.
