The appearance of information about the collector's edition raises hopes that the devs will soon reveal the game's release date. We have been waiting for Dying Light 2 for a very long time - the title was originally supposed to come out in 2019, but then it scored a series of delays.

Currently, it is not even known whether the game is to be released this year. The anxiety of fans was recently aroused by information about the departure of several key employees from Techland. However, their tasks were to be taken over some time ago by other developers, which should enable the devs to avoid delays.

Two weeks ago, the developers promised that they would soon share exciting information regarding Dying Light 2. It's possible that this includes the official reveal of the collector's edition and the announcement of the release date.
