In Case of Emergency, Release Raptor aborted and refunded

In Case of Emergency, Release Raptor is no longer in development. The game is being offered for free on Steam in its current state, whereas everyone who bought the Early Access version can claim a refund.

In Case of Emergency, Release Raptor is never going to be completed as the development was halted soon after the project hit Steam Early Access. The bright side, however, is that the game is now available for free on Steam and the developers at Arcen Games are offering refunds to everyone who already bought it. The reason behind this surprising decision? The developers explained that In Case of Emergency, Release Raptor was selling very poorly and gave no promise for improvement in the future. In order to get the refund, follow the normal procedure described here.

Just before the pulldown, In Case of Emergency, Release Raptor was updated to Alpha 16, which introduced a new robot, a minimap, improved AI, and a bunch of fixes. In its current state the game is fully playable, but it doesn’t have all the content that the developers wanted to implement. The game has you play as a velociraptor who fights aggressive robots on a procedurally generated space station. The creators say that one day they may resume works on the project and release it as In Case of Emergency, Release Raptor 2, but that would not affect the original free-to-play version.
