Jagged Alliance 3 - Graaf Decision and Fight Tips to Save Slaves

There are many interesting and unique people in Jagged Alliance 3. Some of them are good, others made some bad decisions, but they can repent. Among them, there are few characters who are simply immoral and bad. Sadly, war can be really cruel. Here, you will read about one of such characters – Graaf. We will tell you about outcomes of your decision regarding his fate and provide some tips to make the combat easier.

Jagged Alliance 3 Graaf – Fight Tips

1. It is not a fight tip, but a general information: you can find Graaf in the mine in sector A2. This place is also connected to Pierre (but he will be not there). During conversation with a slaver, you will learn that the merc is in the sector F19 in Camp Bien Chien.
2. If you want to keep slaves alive, you need to watch out for Graaf. Guards start to kill them on his order, if he does not give it, those poor people will be most likely safe. It is possible to “kill” Graaf at the beginning of the fight (you have to successfully sneak to him and headshot him) or simply take care of the soldiers silently.
3. You should take with you some snipers with suppressors. At least two, as at some points you will have to deal with two opponents at the same time. Fox is very useful here, as she has a special ability which delays alarm.
4. Learn the patrol route of the enemies. You can observe and predict their movement. If you add to that a sniper with silenced weapon, the story writes itself.
5. Do everything slowly, take care of one enemy/group after the other.
6. Remember to sneak!

JA3 – Graaf Decision

After defeating all opponents and reducing Graaf’s HP enough, he will surrender. You may talk a little bit with him to learn some interesting information (like the one about Pierre). Nevertheless, at the end you will have to decide slaver’s fate.

1. Let him go – you will get a magazine, some diamonds and an artifact. Loyalty of Pantagruel will get lower.
2. Kill him – you will be able to loot his unique weapon – Gold Fever Sniper Rifle. It is on the table on the terrace. Sadly, you can’t mod this gun. It will be there only if you did not destroy the “balcony” during combat. Loyalty of Pantagruel will grow.
3. Make him an Overseer – you will get diamonds and a magazine. What is more, the mine will get a solid income boost. Loyalty of Pantagruel will get lower.

If you decide to keep Graaf alive, you need to remember that not all mercs will like that. What is more, some of them may not agree with your decision and rebel. For example, Ivan is known for killing Graaf regardless of your decision.
