In the nation of Grand Chien, the elected president has gone missing, leading to a rise in power of the paramilitary group "The Legion." Jagged Alliance 3 takes you on a journey alongside the President's family, as they hire skilled mercenaries to locate their missing leader and restore peace. As the commander of this military group, you must embark on strategic missions and restore order. On your way you will be able to complete many quests. One of them is connected to Pierre, a warlord and chief of the firs stronghold you will encounter.
You can hear about Pierre for the first time when you enter Ernie village. Talk with Luc, his father. The old man will ask you not to kill his son. The quest will continue when you attack Fort L’eau Bleu.
There are a few things which can be done before you attack the fortress on the Ernie Island:

After you weaken the strongold enough, the fight should be quite easy. Enter the fort and talk with Pierre, however, don’t rush in through the front door. Just attack from behind. Go to the mine field and climb the ladder. There are some good defensive positions (just remember that a car can explode). And if you are lucky and stealthy, you may eliminate some enemies quietly, without them noticing you.
You don’t have to watch out for Pierre during the fight. He will surrender himself when he will be hurt enough. So, you will not kill him by accident.
