Jagged Alliance 3 (JA3) - Pierre Decision (Fort Leau Bleu)

In the nation of Grand Chien, the elected president has gone missing, leading to a rise in power of the paramilitary group "The Legion." Jagged Alliance 3 takes you on a journey alongside the President's family, as they hire skilled mercenaries to locate their missing leader and restore peace. As the commander of this military group, you must embark on strategic missions and restore order. On your way you will be able to complete many quests. One of them is connected to Pierre, a warlord and chief of the firs stronghold you will encounter.

How to start Pierre in JA3

You can hear about Pierre for the first time when you enter Ernie village. Talk with Luc, his father. The old man will ask you not to kill his son. The quest will continue when you attack Fort L’eau Bleu.

How to weaken Fort Leau Bleu

There are a few things which can be done before you attack the fortress on the Ernie Island:

1. Talk with Bastien in sector I1. Don’t kill him though, as he will be useful later. Next, spare him in region H3. It will be enough for him to leave the stronghold.
2. Stash of weapons – in sector H3 there is a bunker. Conquer it. At the same time, you will find there a machine gun which may be gifted to the village.
3. Convince Deedee – she is in I3 region. If you have someone with high explosives skill, she may be convinced to leave Legion without supplies.

Stronghold Fight in JA3

After you weaken the strongold enough, the fight should be quite easy. Enter the fort and talk with Pierre, however, don’t rush in through the front door. Just attack from behind. Go to the mine field and climb the ladder. There are some good defensive positions (just remember that a car can explode). And if you are lucky and stealthy, you may eliminate some enemies quietly, without them noticing you.

You don’t have to watch out for Pierre during the fight. He will surrender himself when he will be hurt enough. So, you will not kill him by accident.

Pierre Decision in JA3

There are many decisions in Jagged Alliance 3. Some are more important than others. One of them concerns Pierre. You may kill him or not:

1. Time to die – Pierre will be dead; the quest will be over. You will get 30 loyalty with Ernie. Luc will be sad (obviously) and will not give you a reward.
2. You may go – this action will not end the quest. You will be able to meet the soldier in the future and it will be possible to hire him. Also talk with Luc, he will be pleased and will give you diamonds. You will get 10 loyalty with Ernie.

How to recruit Pierre in Jagged Alliance 3

To recruit Pierre you must do 3 main things:

1. Help Ernie – you will get some quests in the village. Complete them.
2. His father must survive – don’t let Luc be hanged.
3. Reform Bastien – don’t kill him and later convince him to cooperate with you.
