Jedi: Survivor PC Got a Patch; Consoles Will Have to Wait

As promised, the developers of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have begun patching their new work. First of all, the patches were received by owners of the PC version of the game. Later on it will come to consoles. We know the details of the update.

Both Electronic Arts and Respawn Eintertainment would like to forget the disastrous debut of their latest creation - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Riddled with numerous bugs, the game is facing a wave of criticism from disgruntled players. Painfully aware of the poor condition of the game are the creators themselves, who have issued an apology and promised necessary fixes to their work.

As it turns out, the developers did not throw their words to the wind, because today (i.e. May 1) an important update was released for the PC version of Jedi: Survivor.

  • A tweet published by the developers reveals that the patch is focused on improving rendering smoothness without ray tracing.
  • It is worth mentioning that the patch on PC weighs a mere 1.38 GB.

Slightly more improvements will be received tomorrow by the console editions of the game (Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5). Here are some sample fixes:

  • Fixed a number of bugs on PlayStation and Xbox Series X/S and in various areas of the game.
  • Fixed crashes related to skipping cutscenes.
  • Improved performance on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
  • Fixed rendering issues.
  • Fixed problems with overlapping dialogues.
  • Fixed problems with collisions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused players to get stuck inside the Chamber of Duality if they did not save the game state after leaving it and died.

At the same time, the developers assured that they are working hard to improve the game's performance and fix bugs on all platforms.
