Kelvin Got Hunky After New Sons of the Forest Update

Endnight Games is not slowing down and punctually provides players with another update for Sons of the Forest. As usual, in addition to removing some bugs, it introduces some new content and adds quite a few gameplay improvements.

New update to Sons of the Forest

I have to admit that the latest patch for SotF is, in my opinion, the most interesting one so far, as it introduces quite a few useful new features. Kelvin has apparently gained some muscle mass, as he is now able to carry two logs at the same time.

While we're on the subject of carrying logs, the developers have announced that fans will soon get the ability to transport wood using a log-carrying sled. This will be a novelty that players have been demanding for a long time.

Here are some of the most interesting changes brought by the latest update to Sons of the Forest.

1. A webcam has been added and the first video has been captured on the island. The video can be viewed above.
2. The name of the game save can be changed from now on.
3. Kelvin is able to carry two logs at the same time.
4. New animations of cannibals.
5. Skinned animals look different.
6. Birds fly a bit faster.
7. Kelvin can be tasked with building shelves.
8. Added sound when a cannibal is hit in the "armor" it wears.
9. The animation in which a certain character (no spoilers) fights an opponent has been lengthened.
10. Virginia will visit the player more often if you have gained her trust.
11. From now on, you can see the damage on the armor from tissue and leaves.

At the time of this writing, when you enter the game's main menu, it says that the next update is coming to Sons of the Forest in 20 days and 15 hours, so it should be expected on May 12. Usually the waiting time for the next patches was shorter. One can only guess whether it will turn out to be larger than usual.
