Creators of Sons of the Forest regularly announce when the next update for their game will be released. The latest of the patches - numbered 14 - introduces, among other things, new types of defense against enemies, more lush fauna and quite a few minor improvements.

Patch 14 for Sons of the Forest is now available

Sons of the Forest has received patch number 14, and it's fair to say that this time it does not introduce great changes to the game. Instead, the focus is on eliminating bugs and adding minor gameplay fixes. However, this does not mean that no new features have appeared in the game. Here are the most important ones:

  1. four new types of arrows have been added: incendiary, poisonous, explosive and electric. For your own good, you'd better not play Rambo with explosive arrows near your base;
  2. an additional small cave has been introduced;
  3. three new blueprints for traps have made their way into the game;
  4. the possibility of constructing a rack on which to spears can be stored;
  5. it is now possible to build a double bed;
  6. if you see lack of variety among the cannibals, no worries - another charming creature has joined the game in the form of Igor;
  7. cannibal villages now have a more diverse look;
  8. deer and turtles are easier to encounter after the update;
  9. tarps now react to gusts of wind.

You can read the full list of changes here.

Upon entering the game, it appears that the next update will debut in 20 days and 16 hours. It should therefore be expected on December 1.
