Reviews of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are now available online. It looks like Traveller's Tales has done a good job.

LEGO game Star Wars: Skywalker Saga will be released tomorrow, once again taking players on a journey through a galaxy far far away built of Danish bricks. The title has already been checked by reviewers, who shared their impressions of the new game from Traveller's Tales. It should be noted that many journalists still have not given a rating.

LEGO Star Wars bigger and better than ever?

A relatively small number of notes is due to the fact that Skywalker Saga is a huge game packed with content, as well as - according to many - the best LEGO video game ever. It's a position in which, as the reviewers write, we will experience most of the adventure with a smile on our lips. And if we want to find all the secrets, we will spend in a lot of time in Skywalker Saga.

Other news from the world of Star Wars:

  1. Chinese Giant NetEase May Acquire Star Wars: Eclipse Devs

Skywalker Saga has everything we've gotten used by the previous installments of the series: a story known from the Star Wars movie, story told with a tongue-in-cheek attitude, but also the developers showing respect for the source material at every step.

At the same time the creators have introduced a handful of improvements, both in gameplay (mainly in the combat system, also in space), as well as visuals (locations and characters look as if they were really made of plastic - which is an advantage here). A lot of content has been prepared and most of the time it is varied enough not to get boring even during longer sessions. The game also makes it easier to acquire playable characters through a system of buying "rumors", which are hints on how to unlock them.

The Dark Side of the Force

Of course, it's hard to expect the game to be without flaws. The most enthusiastic reviewers have at most mentioned that the content of Skywalker Saga was limited to nine movies, excluding only the Disney catalog (the characters alone, offered in DLC are not enough).

Unfortunately, most journalists had little more to say about the former. The most common complaint is the compression of cinematic stories. As a result, individual chapters often end too quickly, which can make it happen that the player does not have time to enjoy a beloved moment from the Star Wars saga.

Here and there, mention has also been made of elements that are too complex for inexperienced players (for example, spaceship flights), secrets that are not always interesting, and mini-games that sometimes occur too frequently. In addition, we can find information about technical problems, although these are said to be few.

Nevertheless, we have to admit that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a great return of the series and a very good game. Players will be able to try it out tomorrow on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. PC owners can also check out the game's system requirements.
