We are getting closer to the end of this week’s Cookie Jam questions. After solving many difficult and easy puzzles, you should be ready to face the next one. It is quite enigmatic “Pour, drip, [blank].” These words are different names for methods of “flow” of liquids. Let’s search for the one that fits this Buzzword. Ready?

Answer to “Pour, drip…” in Cookie Jam

Finding the third word to fill up the gap was not an easy task for me, as it is not the word I hear often. However, you are here to shorten the process of guessing, so I will not take your time any longer. The answer to this Buzzword is:

1. Pour, drip____ – drizzle

Surprised? All these words have one thing in common – they are used to describe a flow of a liquid. They can be used during rain (which was my first clue), or we can hear them in the kitchen.

1. Pour – it can be used to describe a heavy rain as well as an activity of filling something with a liquid.
2. Drip – used in the context of small drops of water falling from something, including us, when we are totally wet. Dripping is also a name for fat and juices which generate after cooking meat.
3. Drizzle – this term is used for a light rain or when we add a stream of a liquid to our food (for example a drizzle of oil to salad).

That one was difficult, especially as I do not have many opportunities to use the word drizzle. However, thanks to answering it, now I can go (and you too) to the next Buzzword, which is “A mini getaway.” This one may be tricky. Good luck.
