Lost Ark Launches Today; Here's How to Earn Twitch Drops
Starting today, you can play Lost Ark, a four-year-old MMORPG released in the West by Amazon Games. On this occasion, the Legends of Lost Ark event has started, in which you can earn special prizes for watching streams on Twitch.
MMORPG fans have a big reason to be happy today - Lost Ark, the four-year old game by Smilegate, is finally available in the West. For now, only for those who have purchased the bronze, silver, gold or platinum Founder's Pack on Steam (here a hand summary of the differences between them), but already on Friday, February 11, the free-to-play game will be available for everyone to play.
Legends of Lost Ark event
The so-called headstart of the game is quite an event for MMORPG fans, so Amazon Games and Twitch prepared a special event for them. It's called Legends of Lost Ark and consists of, well - watching selected streamers play the game. If you stream for at least four hours, you can win Twitch Drops - special prize packs consisting of cosmetic items.
Twitch Drops - what are they and how to get them?
How to get them? Just link your Lost Ark account with your Twitch profile and watch one of the streams from this list. The teams listed here will offer one of four prize packages at a time, so keep an eye on the scoreboard to know which team will offer your desired package.
These in turn consist of the following cosmetic items:
- Three Battle Item Chest packs, Regulus' Light Currency Chest (contains 100k silver), and Amethyst Shard Pack (contains 1500 shards);
- Arkesia Paper Hat Chest - contains a unique hat;
- Helgaia Pet Chest - contains a unique pet companion;
- Neugier Gold Mount - contains a mount resembling a gold hovercraft.
