Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is another game shown during the Summer Game Fest 2023. The new footage of the continuation of Spidey's adventures shows nothing from the game, but reveals a very important piece of information: the release date.

The appearance of the continuation of Spider-Man from Insomniac Games may come as a surprise. After all, less than two weeks ago Sony showed the game as part of its own show - the PlayStation Showcase in May.

Nevertheless, it's not that surprising. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was one of the many games featured in the June 6 Summer Game Fest 2023 trailer, alongside previously confirmed "attendees" of the event (including Alan Wake 2, the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077) and a couple of previously unannounced titles (including. Besides, let's be honest, fans of Spider-Man are unlikely to complain about seeing the cover art and Venom artwork. It's always another material to make their long wait for the release more pleasant.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will debut on October 20 exclusively on PlayStation 5. At least for now, as a later release of the game on PC cannot be ruled out.
