Max Length of the Train in Voidtrain

If you want to know how long the train can be in Voidtrain, you are in a good place. Read our article to learn more.

Voidtrain is an early access game, which takes the player to a titular Void. However, it is not empty. You can find here some remnants of land, civilization, and what is more interesting, various creatures and enemies. It is a survival, which focus is on crafting and gathering resources rather than keeping your character well fed and hydrated. In this title the main mean of transportation is a train. It is at the same time your home and workshop. In this guide we will tell you how long it can be.

How long is the train in Voidtrain?

The train in Voidtrain can have various maximum lengths. It depends on upgrades you install:

  1. Basic train – in the case of the first and not upgraded vehicle, you can install maximum of 6 platforms + engine railcar.
  2. Steam engine – thanks to this upgrade, you can add additional 2 platforms, making it 8 in total + locomotive.
  3. Diesel engine – this can add even more platforms to the train, up to 12 + locomotive.

The platform is a unit of your train construction. 1 fully build railcar is qual 4 platforms. Each Platform consists of 4 floors. It means that you will have probably enough space for all of your workstations and resources.

At this point of early access, there are only upgrades up to Diesel era. However, there are plans to improve trains more, so it is very possible that they will become even longer.
