Two months after its release, Korean MMO Throne and Liberty is doing well on Steam. The game continues to crank out solid activity results, and the reception of the title has improved strongly since its release.
The release of Throne and Liberty, a free-to-play Korean MMORPG from NCSoft studio, was one of the biggest events of October. So it's worth taking a look at how the game is doing two months after its launch.
The number of players has significantly decreased. The activity record, set right after the release, was 326,377 players playing simultaneously on Steam. Yesterday, at the peak of the day, 78,886 people were playing on this platform at the same time, while last Sunday the number was just over 105,000. (On weekends, the results are always higher than during the week).
The hard work of devs therefore brings fruits. Since the launch day, they have released a series of updates that have greatly improved the technical condition of the game and stabilized the servers. Now the devs can focus on new content. The first thing to be introduced is an expansion of the arsenal of weapons available to players, with spears offering a range of abilities. The update with this content will be released on December 5.
However, this doesn't mean that everything in Throne and Liberty is currently working perfectly.
As you can see, these issues don't prevent the game from achieving good results, especially since the title is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. However, only two months have passed since the release, and if the developers want to maintain this level of interest, they must quickly respond to the players' feedback.
