Dota Auto Chess, a modification for Dota 2, developed by the Chinese team at Drodo Studio, is scheduled to come to mobile device. Today, users of smartphones and tablets with the Android system (owners of Apple devices will have to wait a bit longer) can already check out the test version of the game. A free copy of Auto Chess, as the game is titled, is waiting at this address. On the web page, click the "Android test server Download" button to start downloading the APK file. The next step is to copy the latter to your smartphone or tablet and install the program.
Installing APK files from outside of Google Play increases the risk of your phone or tablet becoming a victim of a hacker attack.
To start playing Auto Chess on the move, you must have an account that can be created on the same site; your e-mail address and password provided during registration are used to log in to your profile from the game level. Interestingly, some addresses are too long to be used to access your account. In this case you need to go here and log in, and after checking your ID - enter it when you try to log in.
Another matter is that (as you can read on Reddit) although the authors have prepared an English version of their work, it runs in Chinese by default. To change the language to English, tap (after logging in) on the icon of your profile, select the option with the cogwheel symbol, and in the menu that appears - tap on the item at the bottom of the list; this way you get to the list of available languages.
As a curiosity it should be added that PC-based Dota Auto Chess is still in a great shape - the modification has nearly eight million subscribers in Steam Workshop, and thanks to its popularity Dota 2 is experiencing a second renaissance. It is worth remembering that the commercial version of the mod published by Drodo Studio will not feature Valve's characters.
