NHL 26 has a release date. Electronic Arts sees the game's success in 4 new features
On the occasion of the announcement of NHL 26, we learned about the game's release date, target platforms, and key new features.
Electronic Arts is preparing for a virtual sports season. One of its elements will be the release of NHL 26, which is the next installment of the series dedicated to ice hockey. The title announced by this publisher is heading for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and will launch on September 12th. Nonetheless, players who pre-order its Deluxe Edition will get access to it 7 days earlier, on September 5th.
The list of new features introduced in NHL 26 is led by four new features:
- ICE-Q 2.0 is the new version of the system responsible for AI behavior and gameplay realism, based on NHL Edge data;
- X-Factors gives us access to 28 skills, which are divided into 5 different categories;
- The improved Be A Pro mode allows us to "live our hockey adventure from novice to superstar;"
- HUT Seasons is a new game mode where "every match" is supposed to matter.
