Ninja Peach & Cowgirl Peach Showcased in New Princess Peach: Showtime! Trailer

In a brand new trailer for Nintendo’s upcoming game, Princess Peach: Showtime!, two new power-ups were revealed: Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach.

The latest trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime! was released today, showcasing the many roles the princess will take on in the new title set to launch this March. Four powers have already been shown in previous trailers, but this new trailer revealed two more: Ninja Peach and Cowgirl Peach. While Ninja Peach will utilize stealth and acrobatics, the more brash Cowgirl Peach will use horseback riding and a lasso to take on challenges. You can watch the new trailer below.

Princess Peach must save the Sparkle Theater from the antagonist, Grape, and the Sour Bunch, using various power ups / costumes to adapt to each scene. Previous trailers had already shown Swordfighter Peach, Detective Peach, Patisserie Peach, and Kung Fu Peach. Each of these various costumes unlocks unique powers that will let players tackle various challenges.

Ninja Peach in particular looks very creative, in the trailer the princess uses fake bushes to sneak up on enemies, and in a screenshot shared by Nintendo, she uses a stick of bamboo to sneak by enemies underwater. The Sparkle Theater must be quite the theater to have the space for all of this action. With plenty of creativity on display in this trailer, it will be exciting to see what else this game has in store.

Nintendo also announced that alongside the launch of Princess Peach: Showtime!, certain stores will also have a pair of pink pastel Joy-Cons for sale. Princess Peach: Showtime! is scheduled to launch on March 22nd, 2024 for the Nintendo Switch.
