One Baldur's Gate 3 feature will be further improved. Larian Studios said which one and shared the stunning numbers

It's been 2 years since the full release of Baldur’s Gate 3, the super popular RPG game from Larian Studios. The success of this game, considered by many as a strong candidate for "game of the decade," has had a positive impact on the team responsible for it, which was already said by Larian Studios' CEO, Swen Vincke. Today, to celebrate the second anniversary of their project, the devs shared a special message with some really interesting info.

Mods popularity in Baldur’s Gate 3

In September last year, Baldur’s Gate 3 received a huge update, which introduced official support for mods. Larian Studio just announced that over 8,500 different mods for "Baldur's Gate 3" have been published on mod.io since then.

So far, players have downloaded selected fan projects over 265 million times. What's interesting, one of the most frequently downloaded mods is called Withers Big Naturals, which "improves" the appearance of an optional party member (it has been downloaded 250,000 times).

The developers are really impressed by how the community keeps getting involved in modding Baldur’s Gate 3, so they want to match that energy themselves. Because of that, Larian Studios is working on expanding the official modding tools to provide players with even greater freedom, but so far, nothing more has been revealed on this subject.

Baldur's Gate 3 - statistics of rare achievements

Looking back at the first bumpy streams of Baldur’s Gate 3 and the game's big launch and development, the developers highlighted the love and support from the dedicated community:

The game creators shared some cool stats about rare achievements from all platforms, giving a shoutout to the most hardcore players.

1. Only 1.82% of players earned 100 gold for playing musical instruments.
2. 2.07% of players managed to defeat 20 opponents while drunk (in game).
3. Only 3.87% of players defeated Gortash in Wyrm's Rock without activating any traps in the location.
4. Quite a lot, because 1.1 million people finished Baldur’s Gate 3 in Tactician Mode.
5. Almost half a million players have completed the game in the most difficult mode of all, the Honour Mode. Among these "masochists," there were over 4,600 people who also beat the game as the character at the first level.
6. 8.21% of players used an enemy as a weapon against other opponents.
7. The characters whose skills were reset most often are Shadowheart, Wyll, and Gale.
8. Almost 600 people adopted a child while being in a romantic relationship with Wyll.
