The popular game set in the universe of the Avatar film series will soon appear on Steam. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is another Ubisoft title that will hit Valve's platform.
UPDATE:
During Ubisoft Forward 2024, Ubisoft announced a story expansion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It is titled The Sky Breaker and will be released on July 16 on PC, PS5, and XSX/S.
Half a year has passed since the release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. After this time, Ubisoft announced that this title would also be available on Valve's platform (previously it was only available on Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store for PC). A game set in the Avatar film series universe will be available on Steam from June 17th. We don't know its price yet, but you can add it to your wishlist.
The pre-release reception of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was fairly moderate. Suffice it to say that the graphics made the greatest impression on the reviewers. On Metacritic, the game received an average rating of 72/100.
Based on some threads on Reddit, it can be concluded that players were quite reluctant to accept Ubisoft's decision to make the title exclusive to the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. So it's possible to conclude that with the game soon to be available on Steam, it might attract new fans. Let me know if you were waiting to make a purchase.
It's also worth mentioning that as recently as March, another Ubisoft game - The Settlers: New Allies was released on Steam. It took the Settlers over a year.
