POE - Benevolent, Radiant and Afflicted Fountain Explained

In this article we will talk about the Benevolent, Radiant and Afflicted fountains from Path of Exile. If you want to learn more about them, please feel free to do so.

Path of Exile recently received a major update - The Forbidden Sanctum. Many players decided to check out the various new features and sit down to play the game again for hours. In this article, we will discuss the special rooms that can be found in the Sanctum - you will find Benevolent, Radiant and Afflicted fountains in them. Find out what they are and what they are used for.

POE: Benevolent Fountain

If you happen to come across a room with Benevolent Fountain then you can receive a random Boon, a positive perk that has various effects. However, it is not free. You have to pay 150 Aureus for it.

It is worth considering whether it is worth spending this money. Merchant is more expensive, but at least you can choose the Boon you want. Benevolent Fountain is for people who like risk and gambling.

POE: Radiant Fountain

Radiant Fountain works similarly to Benevolent Fountain, but is much more powerful. Not only will it add a random Boon to you but it will also take down a random Affliction. In addition, you will gain 200 Inspiration. As if that wasn't enough, it will only cost you 5 Aureus. A real bargain. It is worth taking the advantage of it.

POE: Afflicted Fountain

Afflicted Fountain is a rather ambiguous fountain. While those previously discussed only brought positive effects (although you had to pay for them), the Afflicted Fountain also brings problems. This fountain is capable of renewing 50% of your maximum Resolve. However, it comes at a price - it will impose a random Affliction on you. It is up to you to decide if the bonus is worth the risk.
