Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown's New Footage From Ubisoft Forward

Today's Ubisoft Forward featured Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The title lived to see a decent gameplay presentation and an atmospheric trailer.

During this year's Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft showed new footage from the recently announced Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The game lived to see an atmospheric trailer and a gameplay presentation.

The title is heading for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch, and it's scheduled for release on January 18, 2024..

  1. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will take us to ancient Persia in a mythological version.
  2. The main character will be one of the so-called "Immortals," or elite warriors. When the Prince of Persia is kidnapped, his task will be to rescue the heir to the throne at any cost.
  3. The gameplay will be a kind of return to the brand's roots; it will involve exploration, avoiding traps and hazards, solving puzzles and battling a variety of enemies - and all of this in a side-scrolling view.
  4. The arcade combat system allows for a variety of attacks and combos. Acrobatics and timing control will be key to gameplay.
  5. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will offer attractive 2.5D graphics, maintained in a slightly cartoonish style.
