Ubisoft's F2P Shooter Open Beta Announced; Schedule Revealed

Today's Ubisoft Forward showcased a new gameplay trailer from the F2P online shooter XDefiant. Ubisoft also announced that there will be open beta testing of the game.

French game developer Ubisoft presented the free-to-play online shooter XDefiant at the Ubisoft Forward 2023 event, announced in July 2021. We could see a fresh gameplay trailer, which provides new details about the gameplay.

In addition, Ubisoft announced open beta testing for XDefiant, which will take place from June 21 to 23. Participation will be possible on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This is a good opportunity for gamers to get an early look at the game and provide feedback. More information on XDefiant, including details on how to participate in the beta test, can be found on the game's official website.

It is worth mentioning here that the closed beta, which took place in April 2023, attracted more than one million players. The French probably didn't expect such interest, as they eventually decided to extend the tests by a few days.

In addition, Ubisoft confirmed that XDefiant will be released in the summer of 2023. The title will be available for free on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

XDefiant is a game that is expected to combine elements of first-person shooters with unique character customization options. The above footage shows gameplay, demonstrating dynamic action and a variety of environments.
