Not Quarantine nor Parasite will be the title of the new installment of Rainbow Six. Ubisoft has released a video revealing the title of the upcoming game: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Extraction. The company also published a short teaser, which you can watch below.

The fact that the project will receive a new name before the release, was known already in February. However, the concept of the game will not change: Extraction will be an online shooter based on the mechanics from Rainbow Six: Siege, but focusing on the fight against AI opponents in PvE gameplay. It won't be the Horde/Survival mode known from many games - the players will have to complete certain tasks and 'make sure no one gets left behind'. This last comment from Patrik Methé (the game's creative director) confirms information from February that the title would feature a mechanic for rescuing companions lost in previous missions.

If the title change and residual information aren't enough for you, the developers will show the first (official) gameplay from Rainbow Six: Extraction during Ubisoft Forward. The latter will take place on June 12 at noon PT
