Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Officially on PC; Release Date Revealed
Another PlayStation exclusive title is coming soon to PC. This time it will be the lovely game Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
The suggestions have been confirmed - Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a charming PS5 exclusive title that was released almost two years ago is coming to PC. The game will debut on the new platform on July 26. A short trailer for the PC version of the game has hit the net, available below.
The PC port of the latest installment of Ratchet & Clank will be prepared by Nixxes Software. This comes as no surprise, as the studio has already prepared other ports of titles from Insomniac Games, namely Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Features of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC version
Along with the official confirmation of the port, Nixxes has shared a handful of information about it. PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will:
- offer ray tracing - receive several quality levels to choose from;
- support the functions of the DualSense controller, if you connect it (other controllers will also be supported);
- offer support for ultra-widescreen monitors with aspect ratios of 21:9, 32:9 and up to 48:9 for three-monitor configurations;
- support Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Temporal Injection (from Insomniac Games) technologies.
Price and bonuses
We also know the price of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for PC, the game will cost the standard $59.99. If you decide to pre-order, you will receive the Pixelizer (weapon) and Carbonox armor. It is worth noting that these can be unlocked for free as the storyline progresses, so this is only gives earlier access to set set.
PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will include five armors, which on PS5 were available if you purchased the Digital Deluxe edition. In addition, PC gamers will receive a set of armor to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series, as well as five armors inspired by previous installments.
