Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC Improved by Patch
A new update for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is now available on PC. This patch resolves texture loading issues, fixes visual glitches and improves stability.
Second patch for PC version of 3D platformer Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was released. The update is numbered 1.728.0.0 and brings several beneficial changes.
- Problems with loading textures, which caused some of them to be displayed at low resolution, have been resolved.
- Fixed imperfections in water reflections that occurred when the ambient occlusion option was set to anything other than SSAO.
- Resolved an issue that caused the interaction button to be visible on the screen even after the action was completed.
- Fixed a bug with the vendor's weapon preview visualization when using ultrawide screens.
- Various fixes for smaller bugs were also implemented, engine stability was improved and optimization was enhanced.
Recall that the PC version of the game debuted last week. Its sales results are quite average, but people who bought the release are satisfied. On Steam Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has 85% positive reviews, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception.
The game has thus avoided the fate of the disastrous PC port of The Last of Us: Part I. This was to be expected, however, as the PC release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the responsibility of Nixxes, one of the best teams specializing in porting games from consoles to PC.
