Resident Evil 4 Remake Announced; Trailer and Release Date

During State of Play Sony announced one of the most anticipated remakes in recent years. In addition, we saw the new edition of Resident Evil Village.

The State of Play presentation has ended. When opening the segment of announcements, Sony revealed a legendary return. Resident Evil 4 will receive a remake, set for release on March 24, 2023.

Capcom's iconic 2005 game is set to make its way to the PlayStation 5 after a thorough refresh, while retaining the essence of the original. Thanks to the trailer below we already had a chance to see how Resident Evil 4 would look like if it debuted 18 years later. Works on the content for PlayStation VR2 goggles were also mentioned.

In addition, Sony reaffirmed its faith in virtual reality technology. Just moments later, the first fiddle was played by Resident Evil Village. The title, which was released last year, is also set to get a VR version.

Next year from Sony is expected to be marked by horror in a new and even more real way. Are you ready?
