Rise of the Tomb Raider is most probably going to hit PC in January 2016, if we are to believe the game’s Steam page and some recent leaks.

Don’t hide Lara, we know it’s you sneaking up on PC.

The sheer fact that Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to be released on PC is not a surprise – announced back in 2014 as a timely Xbox exclusive the game just had to eventually be ported to other platforms (more specifically: PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3). Now the next installment in this cult action-adventure game series got a Steam page, which states that the title is going to hit PC in January 2016. This is consistent with what Amazon reported a couple of weeks ago (spotted by PC Gamer) that the game would launch on January 29th.

Rise of the Tomb Raider has been available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 since November. Since then the game received lots of very good reviews, which makes us even more eager to play it on PC. The latest production from Crystal Dynamics is said to get a spooky Baba Yaga DLC in January (temporarily announced only for Xbox consoles), in which Lara Croft will face horrors of the legendary witch. More expansions are expected to come in the future.
