If you like post-apocalyptic games, you've certainly heard of Road to Vostok, an independent game developed by only one person. The production, also dubbed the "Finnish STALKER" has lived to see another video onYouTube (available below), in which the progress of work on it is presented.
A month ago, the creator boasted about realistic weapon sounds and animations. In the latest footage, which is over four minutes long, we also get a glimpse of the sound effects and animations, but also feel the atmosphere of the Finnish-Russian border, where, struggling for survival, it's worth stopping by a fire in a forest camp and listen to the radio, which is somehow still broadcasting.
Recall that Road to Vostok is scheduled to hit PC via Steam, where we can also find the minimum system requirements. The game is expected to be released in 2024 in early access, earlier we should receive demo versions. So far no word has appeared about the full release.
A semi-pro musician whose passion began in childhood and lives on to this day. When he was a kid, he thought he would become a rock star (and to this day still has a little hope that this will come true). He played in several bands during his high school and college years, but was not successful with any of them, however, he makes his living in part from music – unfortunately, playing pot-boiler kind of music at weddings. He is studying journalism and took his first steps in radio, but he did not stay there long, preferring to look for something else. He took on various jobs, often completely unrelated to his profession; for several years, he even was a bartender. He came Gamepressure in December 2020 and has been a loyal padawan of the Newsroom ever since, although he also worked with Friendly Fire, where he was in charge of its TikTok.
