Rocket Launchers or Anti-Tank Mines? Helldivers 2 Players Must Vote to Unlock New Stratagems and Liberate Lacaille

The Defenders of Super Earth were faced with a difficult choice. The most recent Major Order compels the Helldivers 2 community to make a crucial decision that will determine the fate of numerous citizens in the democratic world, as well as a potential reward.

As part of the latest event, players of Helldivers 2 are sent to the automaton-controlled sector of Lacaille, where their goal is to liberate the planets Choohe and Penta. Although it seems that the forces of Democracy may ultimately prevail in both of these places, the order of liberating planets will determine what the next stratagem will fall into the hands of the players.

  • If the democratic forces decide to liberate Penta first, then the helldivers will get RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher.
  • However, if Choohe were liberated first, the Helldivers 2 community would receive MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines.

The fights are scheduled to last until April 29. Following social media and forums dedicated to the game, we can observe an overwhelming majority of supporters for liberating Penta - could it be because of the technology being developed there? However, these are just "polls;" players will have to - as usual - vote with their weapons. The main objective is still to liberate the Lacaille sector, considering that the ongoing mission consists of multiple phases.

Finally, it is worth mentioning the activity of Helldivers 2 developers, who constantly, and in a funny way, announce events heading to the game. So it was this time too. Take a look for yourselves.
