Dragon Ball is not the only manga that was created by the legendary, and sadly recently deceased, Akira Toriyama. Sand Land is his less popular work, yet worth checking out, nonetheless. For a player, there is no better chance to get to know this universe than the release of the game with the same title. Since previously mentioned DB has many competitive multiplayer productions in its catalogue, let’s find out if SL offers at least coop mode that will allow us to venture through post-apocalyptic, desert world.

Multiplayer and coop in Sand Land explained

If you like mechs, but would like to enjoy more colorful scenery than in Armored Core created by famous From Software, Sand Land may be just right. A manga-like graphics style can be welcoming to many people, some of whom would like to share the adventure with their friends or S.O.s. Is there a multiplayer or coop mode in this production then?

As the title focuses on a world mostly covered by desert and sand, where an extreme water shortage is the biggest problem, such circumstances do not leave too much space for other people and solitude is the only way. Also, that’s probably the feeling intended by the creators, since the game doesn’t feature multiplayer in any form – PvP nor coop.

That doesn't mean that it’s not worth experiencing this journey as the size of the game is impressive. It goes without saying that this title is a beautifully crafted experience that not only fans of Dragon Ball will be able to appreciate. If you are still unsure whether to give Sand Land a try, there is a free demo version on multiple platforms that you can check first.
