On the occasion of its 60th birthday, the Japanese company Sega will launch a miniature version of a portable console from the 90s - Game Gear Micro. The device will debut in Japan on October 6.

IN A NUTSHELL:
Sega decided to celebrate its 60th birthday with the launch of Game Gear Micro, a miniature version of the portable console released in 1990. The device will be 8 cm wide, 4.3 cm high and 2 cm thick. Below you will find a trailer released by the manufacturer.
What's interesting is that the mini-console will be available in four colors variants, each of them will offer a different set of four games.
In Japan, Game Gear Micro will be available from October 6 (there is no information about its release in other regions of the world - it cannot be ruled out that it is a gadget directed only to the local or Asian market. On that market the device will be sold for 4980 yen (around $45). There will also be a set containing all four consoles and an additional accessory called Big Window Micro (a miniature version of Sega Big Window - visible in the picture below). The whole set is valued at 29 980 yen (about $275).
